Refund policy
This Returns, Refunds & Warranty Policy (“Policy”) explains how VOIR (“Voir,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles returns, refunds, replacements, and warranty claims for purchases made directly from us, including through voirppf.com, our Shopify storefront, and direct wholesale/B2B orders.
This Policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. If there is a conflict between this Policy and a signed written agreement between you and Voir, that signed agreement will control to the extent of the conflict.
For California customers: See Section 11 – California Consumers – Special Notice for additional information about rights that may apply under California law.

2. Scope of This Policy
This Policy applies to:
-
PPF rolls and related products purchased directly from Voir, including retail and wholesale;
-
Orders placed via our website (Shopify), Odoo invoices/quotes, or other direct channels we control.
This Policy does not apply to:
-
Purchases made through third-party resellers, installers, or marketplaces (you must work with the original seller);
-
Products clearly designated as being governed by a separate written agreement with different return/warranty terms.
3. All Sales Final — Limited Exceptions
3.1 General Rule
All sales are final.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for:
-
Buyer’s remorse or change of mind;
-
Ordering mistakes (wrong width/length/spec chosen);
-
Dissatisfaction with installer workmanship;
-
Normal wear and tear or cosmetic preferences after installation;
-
Misuse, improper storage, handling, or unauthorized modifications.
3.2 Limited Exceptions
We may provide a replacement, store credit, or other remedy only in the following situations, subject to the conditions in this Policy:
-
Products damaged in transit (Section 4);
-
Order fulfillment errors by Voir (e.g., wrong item shipped, incorrect quantity) reported within the required timeframe;
-
Approved warranty claims under our Limited 10-Year Warranty on qualifying Voir-branded PPF (Section 6).
Cash or card refunds are generally not provided and will only be issued where:
-
Required by law, or
-
Approved by Voir at our sole discretion as an alternative to replacement/credit.
4. Damaged-in-Transit & Shortage Claims
We ship using reputable carriers, including:
-
USPS
-
UPS
-
FedEx
-
DHL
and, where appropriate, freight or third-party logistics providers. Because shipping is handled by independent carriers, strict timelines apply for reporting shipping-related issues.
4.1 Inspection Upon Delivery
You must carefully inspect your delivery as soon as it arrives, including:
-
Outer packaging (box, tube, wrapping);
-
Shipping labels and any visible damage;
-
Contents (rolls, accessories, documentation);
-
Quantity and product specifications (size, type, SKU).
For palletized or freight deliveries, visible damage and shortages must be noted on the carrier’s delivery receipt/BOL at the time of delivery whenever possible.
4.2 Claim Deadline
To the fullest extent permitted by law, any claim for:
-
Shipping damage,
-
Shortages, or
-
Wrong items received
must be submitted to info@voirppt.com within five (5) business days of the recorded delivery date.
Claims submitted after this deadline may be denied because carriers often will not honor late damage/shortage claims.
4.3 Required Documentation
When submitting a damage/shortage claim, include:
-
Order number or invoice number;
-
Your name and contact information;
-
A clear description of the issue;
-
Clear, dated photos showing:
-
Outer packaging;
-
Shipping label(s);
-
Any damaged tube/box or wrapping;
-
The damaged product itself;
-
Any visible signs of mishandling (crushing, punctures, tears, etc.).
-
We may request additional photos, video, or documentation as needed to assess the claim and pursue the carrier if appropriate.
4.4 Remedies for Valid Damage/Shortage Claims
If we verify that damage or shortage occurred and your claim is timely and properly documented, we will, at our option:
-
Ship replacement product(s); or
-
Issue a store credit or account credit for the affected items.
We do not cover installer labor, vehicle downtime, lost jobs, or other indirect costs arising from shipping damage or delays.
5. Returns & Unauthorized Shipments
5.1 No Returns Without Written Authorization
We do not accept physical returns unless we explicitly authorize the return and issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (“RMA”) or written instructions.
Do not ship any product back to us without prior written approval.
5.2 Unauthorized Returns
Shipments returned to us without authorization may be:
-
Refused at delivery;
-
Not processed for replacement or credit; or
-
Returned to sender or disposed of at the sender’s expense.
We are not responsible for loss, damage, or misrouting of any unauthorized return shipments.
6. Limited 10-Year Warranty on Voir-Branded PPF
Voir offers a Limited 10-Year Warranty on qualifying Voir-branded paint protection film (PPF). This section provides a high-level summary; full warranty terms are further described in our Terms of Service, which are incorporated by reference.
6.1 Who Backs and Fulfills the Warranty
The Limited 10-Year Warranty is backed, administered, and fulfilled by Voir, except where a specific product listing or written agreement clearly identifies a different warranty provider.
6.2 What the Warranty Covers
For a period of ten (10) years from the original date of purchase, Voir warrants that qualifying Voir-branded PPF will be free from manufacturing defects that materially affect performance under normal, intended use, which may include:
-
Certain types of cracking;
-
Delamination;
-
Specific adhesive failures attributable to manufacturing defects (not installer error or surface conditions).
6.3 What the Warranty Does Not Cover
The warranty does not cover, among other things:
-
Improper installation or installer workmanship;
-
Inadequate surface prep, contamination, or non-conforming substrates;
-
Normal wear and tear, rock chips, scratches, abrasions, or impact damage;
-
Misuse, neglect, improper cleaning, or exposure to harsh chemicals;
-
Discoloration, staining, or aesthetic changes due to environmental fallout or improper maintenance;
-
Use outside intended applications or recommended installation conditions;
-
Products altered, overstretched, or used in experimental applications without our written approval.
6.4 Exclusive Warranty Remedy
If a warranty claim is approved, Voir’s sole and exclusive obligation, to the fullest extent permitted by law, is to:
-
Provide replacement film (same or comparable product), or
-
Issue a credit equal to the purchase price of the affected film.
The warranty does not cover:
-
Labor costs (removal, installation, reinstallation);
-
Shipping costs (unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing);
-
Business interruption, lost revenue, or other consequential damages.
6.5 Warranty Claim Procedure
To file a warranty claim:
-
Email info@voirppt.com with the subject line “Warranty Claim”;
-
Include:
-
Order/invoice number;
-
Explanation of the issue;
-
Clear photos and/or video documenting the problem;
-
Batch/lot information (if available on the roll/label);
-
Installer/shop name and approximate installation date (if applicable).
-
-
Provide additional information, documentation, or physical samples if we reasonably request them for evaluation.
We will review the claim, which may involve internal technical review or third-party evaluation. Approval is at our reasonable discretion based on the warranty terms and evidence provided.
7. Wholesale & Dealer Orders – Finality
7.1 Final Sale for Wholesale
Wholesale, dealer, and other commercial/bulk orders are treated as final sale. They are generally not eligible for return, refund, or exchange except in the following limited situations:
-
Verified shipping damage or shortage (Section 4);
-
Wrong item shipped due to Voir’s error;
-
Approved warranty claims under Section 6.
Any additional accommodations for wholesale accounts (e.g., courtesy credits or exchanges) must be agreed in writing and are case-by-case.
7.2 Responsibility for End-User Returns
If you purchase from Voir for resale or installation and then sell to or install for end customers, you are responsible for managing your own customer return and complaint processes, unless Voir explicitly agrees in writing to handle direct end-user warranty intake.
8. Refunds vs. Credits vs. Replacements
8.1 Default Remedies
Our default approach is to provide, where appropriate:
-
Replacement product, or
-
Store credit or account credit
rather than monetary refunds.
8.2 When Refunds May Be Issued
Refunds to the original payment method may be issued when:
-
Required by applicable law (including non-waivable consumer rights); or
-
Approved by Voir as an alternative remedy.
When a refund is approved, it will typically be credited back to the original payment method, and processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
9. Chargebacks and Dispute Handling
We ask that you contact us first at info@voirppt.com if you have any concern regarding shipping, product quality, billing, or warranty. Most issues can be resolved much faster directly.
If you initiate a credit/debit card chargeback or similar dispute:
-
We may respond with documentation, including proof of delivery (from USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, or freight carriers), communications, photos, and logs;
-
Repeated or abusive chargeback activity may result in restrictions on future orders, including requiring prepayment via ACH or wire transfer, where permitted by law.
Additional details regarding chargebacks and billing disputes are provided in our Terms of Service.
10. Legal Notes & Non-Waivable Rights (General)
Nothing in this Policy is intended to:
-
Remove or limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer protection laws; or
-
Expand Voir’s obligations beyond what is required by applicable law and any written agreement between you and Voir.
If any part of this Policy is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.
11. California Consumers – Special Notice
Because Voir is based in Irvine, California, certain additional protections may apply to you if you are a natural person purchasing primarily for personal, family, or household purposes and reside in California (“California consumer”).
11.1 “All Sales Final” and Display of Policy
Under certain California laws (including consumer refund disclosure requirements), if a “no refunds” / “all sales final” policy is not clearly and conspicuously disclosed at the time of sale (for example, on the website or at the point of checkout), consumers may be entitled to refund or return rights that differ from the default rules stated here.
We intend this Policy to be clearly posted and visible before you complete checkout. If, however, you believe you did not have access to this Policy or a clear notice of our “all sales final” approach at the time of your purchase, you may have additional rights under California law.
11.2 Non-Waivable California Rights
Nothing in this Policy is intended to limit any non-waivable rights you may have under California law, which may include, for eligible consumers and products:
-
Rights under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act (California Civil Code § 1790 et seq.),
-
Rights under the Consumers Legal Remedies Act, and
-
Other applicable California consumer protection statutes.
Where this Policy conflicts with non-waivable rights provided by California law, California law will control for California consumers.
11.3 Questions or Complaints in California
If you are a California resident and have a complaint that you feel is not adequately resolved by contacting us, you may be able to contact or file a complaint with relevant California consumer authorities, such as the California Department of Consumer Affairs or the California Attorney General. Contact details can be found on their official websites.
